INTERNSHIPS
2018 Asia Internship
THIS TRIP IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Dates: June 22nd – July 6th
Estimated Cost: TBD
WHAT TO ANTICIPATE
Each internship is unique to the culture, geography, and people in which they exist. You will see what is required to plant a church in a closed country by learning from field workers who are engaging in sustainable businesses that are focused on the people group they are reaching out to.
Here are a few things that you will encounter.
LANGUAGE LEARNING
Understand the skill set needed to learn a culture & language where traditional study materials are not available. You will sit in local language classes, have culture challenges, and be pushed outside your comfort zone.
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
Engage with entrepreneurs that put the people group first in their sustainable businesses in order to have access to areas where traditional “missionaries” are not allowed.
WORLDVIEW
Discover different belief systems and how those conflict with a Biblical worldview. Learn how to overcome those obstacles using the narrative approach when teaching the Bible.
HOME-STAYS
Experience local life with families and immerse yourself in their daily routines. Encounter what our field workers may experience on a daily basis.
